Submissions to the journal must be original, unpublished works and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The manuscript type must be indicated upon submission. We welcome the following types of manuscripts:
- Theoretical papers
- Empirical articles
- Literature reviews
- Case studies / Case analyses
- Brief reports / Short reports
- Commentaries
- Book reviews
In accordance with the double-blind review process, any element that allows for author identification (e.g., self-citations, acknowledgements) must be removed from the submitted manuscript. The submission must be accompanied by a cover letter containing the following information:
- Title: Must be concise (maximum 15 words) and informative, as titles are often used in information retrieval systems. Authors should avoid abbreviations and formulas where possible.
- The name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and address(es) of the author(s) must be clearly indicated. Acknowledgements of individuals, grants, funding, etc., must also be indicated. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
- Where the surname may be ambiguous (e.g., a double name), please indicate this clearly.
- Corresponding author: Must be clearly indicated. They will handle correspondence at all stages of review and publication, including after publication. Telephone numbers (with country and area code) must be provided in addition to the email address and full postal address. Contact details must be kept up-to-date by the corresponding author.
- Abstract: All manuscripts must include an abstract not exceeding 250 words.
- Keywords: 2 to 5 keywords must be provided. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes.
- The Title, Abstract, and Keywords reported in the cover letter must be repeated on the first page of the manuscript.
- References: Authors should refer to the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 2010). Manuscripts that do not strictly follow these instructions for authors and the APA publication manual will not undergo peer review. Authors will be asked to make the necessary changes.
- Permissions: Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere must obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) for both print and online formats and include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
- Compliance with Ethical Standards: To ensure objectivity and transparency in research and to ensure compliance with accepted principles of ethical and professional conduct, authors must include information on funding sources, potential conflicts of interest (financial or non-financial), informed consent if the research involved human participants, and a statement on animal welfare if the research involved animals. The corresponding author must be prepared to collect documentation of compliance with ethical standards and submit it if requested during peer review or after publication. The Editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the above guidelines. The author(s) will be held responsible for false statements or failure to comply with the aforementioned guidelines.
